Rocks - ECHO

ECHO – BLAST – TRACE is a site-specific sound and sculpture installation set in the disused quarries of East Mendip, created by Rowena Pearce with Helen Ottaway and Alastair Goolden. Using found stone forms and a layered soundscape of birds, distant machinery and trumpet calls, it invites visitors to experience the quarry as a natural resonating chamber—where landscape, memory and music echo through one another.
