Rowena travelled to Easter Island with Issy, where the silent presence of the great stone heads left a deep impression on her imagination. The monumental stillness of the moai - at once ancient, watchful and human - entered her work as a new gravity, shaping forms that felt rooted, timeless, and quietly attentive, as though her art itself had learned how to stand and look.
